Sheikh Bandar Baleelah has been officially appointed as permanent imaam in Masjid al Haram. He will lead the Maghrib and 'Isha salaah tomorrow, inshaAllah.
Sheikh 'Abdullah al Bu'ayjaan and Sheikh Ahmad Taalib Hameed have also been appointed permanently in Masjid al Nabawi.

I think sheikh shuraim will move into a role similar to sheikh usamah khayyat which leaves him with jumuah khutbas and salahs.

I also hope that now with so many imaams, there would be a balanced e rota system. So far it seems so be ok, but i wish Sheikh Shuraim leads more regularly as he is quite often missing for many months and then leads for 2-3 days only. Here's hoping to hear more from all the imaams.

May I please know how you know who will be leading the prayers?? Do they post it inside King Abdullah's palace in front of Haram? How do the Makkah imams know when they will lead?

Love all the new Imams. Bu'ayjan and Baleela are great. Also love the older ones Shuraim, Budair, Khalid Ghamidi, Abdelmuhsin al qassim. But how come Salih Al Talib never gets to lead taraweeh. He only ever does the regular prayers. Love his voice. He should get to do more.
