Sheikh Sudais will be going to Birmingham, UK Insha'Allah for a conference called Treasures of Time which begins July 31st and ends Aug 2. He will be going to the Greenlane Masjid. If anyone is attending, and can get salaat recordings, and would like to send it to us, that would be great :)

Sheikh Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim is currently in the UK right now to attend the
23rd Annual Tauheed & Sunnah Conference at the Wakefield Central Mosque, West Yorshire, UK. We are not sure where else he will be visiting. If anyone has any recordings and would like to share it with us and the rest of the users on Haramain, we'll gladly accept them :)

How authntic is that information? the only reason I ask is because it seemed difficult or Sh. Sudais to be able to get a visa following the nonsensical media on panorama some years ago.

I thought that as well. He is on the uk restriction list and would not be granted a visa.
Because prior to this he use to come every year.
If he does then I am just round the corner inshaellah will be going.

Last year on the 20th of July Shaykh Salah Al-Budayr Hafidhahullah had supper at my home, Alhamdulillah!
I am reminiscing continuously since the 17th as that was the day he landed here in R.S.A !!!

On another note Sheikh Sa'd al Ghamidi might I repeat -> might <- join leading the taraweeh prayers at Makkah this year.
I wish sheikhayn -Dr. Sudais & Dr. Shuraim visit UK. Both the old pair - (old is gold) would be fun to watch there. I really miss them more than any imam in the Haram.

I also heard Shaykh Saad Al Ghamdi was invited to recite Tarawih in the Haram, Makkah but he declined but if he accepts this year then SubhanAllah that would be a dream come true esp since i will be there inshaAllah..only Mishary Alfassy could top this dream!!
Yeah Shaykh Mishary in the haram would be soooooooooooooo awesome. wow Shaykh saad al Ghamdi turning down lesding in haram is astonishing. Can't believe that. I wonder what his reason was. Another dream come true is Shaykh Khayyat leading Taraweeh.

I dont think Shaykh Saad Al Ghamdi turned it down just because of any reason, I am sure it would have been justified, maybe in humbleness of the great task of being the Imam of Makkah at a young age, mind you this was quite a few years ago..maybe he will lead soon inshaAllah!!
