I've been told that the Imam of Masjid al Qiblatain is a close relative of the imam of Masjid Quba (Sheikh Khalil Qaari). It's not hard to believe that they could be brothers, as they look so much alike, and their voices are very similar.

mashallah, that is excellent news... But i wonder whether he'll still lead fajr, or move to maghrib which is shorter.. Does this still mean new imams will be appointed?

I like the voice of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Maajid Hakeem. He is performing Maashallah very nice adhan
Unlike Makkah, there hasn't been much change in terms of imams. The five Madinah imams have all been leading for more than 10 years now. I don't think they need change - if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Alhamdulillah! Can't wait till he leads Fajr Salah again =D
