ASalaama Alaykum

I think that was wrong what the guards did at the starting - if a person wants to shake Sheikh Talib's hand, then let him.

If Prophet Muhammad (saw) was here, he would especially stop just to shake his hand and then pray cos hes rasoolalah!

Ok, if the guards didnt want to them to shake the sheikhs hand, move that guy nicely, not just shove him away... especially in front of the Kaaba...

We're muslims, we're need to understand each other and care for each other, if we act like this, shoving people around, then how can we be brothers? where will the concept of brotherhood hold?

To the first 'anonymous', the guards were protcting the imaam from the dangers of people who might have other intentions in mind other than shaking hands. It's there duty. Please try to understand. As for the admins of this blog, please clear this up, as it is your duty to protect the Saudis from being insulted, that is, if you want Saudi TV to allow you to continue this blog. If not, then I can teach you a good lesson...

Brothers clip was only posted to make it clear that the security team was only doing their job.and thats why things are so good in the haramain. People must not try to shake hands with imams when they are going to lead prayers or in the haram , They can meet them in their office. The important thing is praying salaat not handshaking.

People have tried to harm the imams before when approaching them and thats why the guards are so tough with anyone that tries.

Also for those people who think that the guards did wrong - If they allow one person, 100 more will want to shake their hands.

By the way if anyone thinks that the protection of the imams makes the Saudis look as though they are being insulted, then that is their own shortsightedness. I am sure that most people can see how it actually protects the imams, Thats why the clip was posted.

We wanted to post this message with the clip but so much stuff to post ,anywaz we apologize if we hurt anyone also this blog is running as Allah wants it , we are not scared of anyone but Allah.

Asalaam O Alikum,

Dear Brother Bin Muhammad, why do we have to be “rude” to our muslim brothers? We must bear in mind that this site is surfed by people all around the world from different background and culture.

I admits that my first impression that the security man shouldn’t do that. But, after I read the explanation from Brother Najiullah than it makes sense why the imam must be protected.

Maybe our culture is different from each other but if we do understand each other then we will respect each other better even admire their some beautiful cultures.

Haramain Team has done a superb job creating this wonderful site. May Allah bless them now and forever.
