Mauritius is to host the leading Imam of the Grand mosque in the Islamic holy city of Mecca. Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais an-Najdi is scheduled to visit in January 2009.
Saudi Arabia newly appointed Ambassador to Mauritius, Mohammed Al-Ali, announced on Monday at a press briefing. He is also accredited to South Africa. He has presented his letter of credence to the President of the Republic Sir Anerood Jugnauth and has also met various ministers like the Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Rashid Beebeejaun. He has visited the Islamic Cultural Centre.
Mohammed Al-Ali, worked on the modalities of Sheik Sudais visit with Information and Communication Technology Minister Mohammed Asraf Ali Dulull, who has taken the initiative and wrote to the Saudi Embassy since July asking for Sheik Sudais to visit Mauritius.
In the presence of ICC Chairman Abdus Samad Nazeer, Minister Dulull assured Al-Ali that everything will be organized the best possible way by the unanimous and deeply felt wish of the Muslims of Mauritius, to have the unique and solemn opportunity of welcoming an illustrious son of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Sheikh Sudais is well known personality to Muslims in Mauritius; not only those who have performed Umrah or Hajj as we liked his Quran’ recitations. Such a visit will not only go a long way towards cementing further the meaningful and purposeful relationships between two brotherly countries, but will also galvanize our religious togetherness, unity and fervour. I will chair a committee and we will see to it that he will never forget his visit to Mauritius and Insha Allah he will come again,” Dulull told.
Dulull also praised the Saudi Arabian government for their continued efforts to help the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and wished prosperity to the brothers and sisters of the Kingdom. Ambassador Al-Ali spoke of the possibility of Saudi TV 2 to be broadcast in Mauritius.

Maurice est d'accueillir le premier imam de la Grande mosquée islamique dans la ville sainte de La Mecque. Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul-Aziz comme Sudais An-Najdi est prévu de se rendre en Janvier 2009.
L'Arabie saoudite vient d'être nommé Ambassadeur de Maurice, Mohammed Al-Ali, a annoncé lundi à une conférence de presse. Il est également accrédité à l'Afrique du Sud. Il a présenté ses lettres de créance au Président de la République Sir Anerood Jugnauth et a également rencontré plusieurs ministres comme le Vice-Premier ministre Dr Ahmed Rashid Beebeejaun. Il a visité le Center culturel islamique.
Mohammed Al-Ali, a travaillé sur les modalités de Cheikh Sudais visite à l'information et des technologies de la communication ministre Ali Mohammed Ašraf Dulull, qui a pris l'initiative et a écrit à l'ambassade d'Arabie Saoudite depuis Juillet demander de Cheikh Sudais visite à l'île Maurice.
En présence de la CCI Président Abdus Samad Nazeer, a assuré le ministre Dulull Al-Ali que tout sera organisé de la meilleure façon possible à l'unanimité et profondément ressenti le désir de musulmans de l'île Maurice, à l'unique et solennelle occasion d'accueillir un illustre fils du Royaume d'Arabie saoudite.
«Cheikh Sudais est bien connu à la personnalité des musulmans à Maurice, non seulement ceux qui ont accompli le Hajj Omra ou comme nous l'avons aimé son Coran" récitations. Cette visite permettra non seulement d'aller un long chemin vers la cimentation des plus significatives et déterminé les relations entre les deux pays frères, mais aussi de galvaniser notre rassemblement religieux, l'unité et la ferveur. Je préside un comité et nous verrons à ce que il n'oubliera jamais de sa visite à Maurice Insha Allah et il viendra de nouveau », a dit Dulull.
Dulull également fait l'éloge du gouvernement saoudien pour leurs efforts continus pour aider le Hajj et Omra pèlerins et a souhaité la prospérité aux frères et soeurs du Royaume. L'Ambassadeur Al-Ali parle de la possibilité de Saudi TV 2 à être diffusés à l'île Maurice.
