من مواليد مدينة الهفوف أحد مدن محافظة الاحساء بالمنطقة الشرقية
تلقى تعليمه في مدينة الهفوف
هو الابن الاكبر ثم يليه اخيه الشيخ نبيل وبينها شبه كبير في الصوت والشكل قليلا
بدء في امامة الناس وهو في المرحلة الثانوية تقريبا في عام 1406 وكان يصلي بالتناوب مع شيخه الشيخ أحمد السلمي
من مشائخ محافظ الاحساء
تلقى تعليمه الجامعي في جامعة الام محمد بن سعود الاسلامية في قسم الشريعة فرع الاحساء
ثم المعهد العالي للقضاء
تم تعيينه بادئ الامر في مدينة الدمام ثم انتقل الى مدينة الرياض ثم تم نقله الى المدينة المنورة تزامنا مع الامامه
والشيخ يتميز برحابة صدره وهدوئه العجيب الذي ياسرك من غير أن تشعر
ويسكن في حي الربوة بالمدينة النبوية وهو قاضي في المحكمة الكبرى بالمدينة
صاحب القلب الخاشع حفظه الله وهو من قبيلة تميم

English Translation
Sheikh Salaah bin Muhammad Al-Budair
He was born in the city of Hufoof; one of the cities in the eastern region of the province of Al-Ahsaa. He received (obtained) his education in the city of Hufoof. He is the older son; followed by him is his brother Sheikh Nabeel. Between them their voice is different but style of recitation is very similar.
He began imamat when he was in secondary level around the year 1406. He led salaat alternately with his Sheikh Ahmed As-Salmy from Mashaikh Governor of Al-Ahsaa. He received his university education from the University of Muhammad bin Saud Al-Islamiyya in the Department of Shariah in the province of Al-Ahsaa. He then (studied) in Institute of Higher learning in (Islamic) Law.
He was initially appointed imam in the city of Damam then moved (was appointed) in the city of Riyadh, then became an imam in Madinah Munawwarah . The Sheikh has a calm recitation from the heart, and is a very humble man.
He lives in the city of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and where he is a judge in the high court of Madinah (along with being an Imam in the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him’s Masjid). May Allah protect him and continue to keep him humble. And he is from the tribe of Tameem.

Oh yes Shaykh Salah is such a great man, we were so so blessed to have him in our country, just 1 and 1/2 months ago.

Does that mean Sheikh Salih Aal Talib and Sheikh Salah Al Budair are from the same tribe (Tamim as it states in both translations of their biography)...?

I want to ask something.....sheikh budair is imam of masjid nabwi and masjidil haram?
Not currently, but yes in 2005 and 2006 Sheikh Budayr did lead Taraweeh in Masjid al Haram and he led one Maghrib salaah there as well.
who is the Head imam in makkah?

There are a few wrong informations in this biography . Also it had translate wrongly . The sheikh Salah is not the older son . He has 4 brothers . Abdullah is the oldest, Abdulraheem followed him, then Nabeel, then the sheikh Salah, then Sa'ad the youngest brother . They all are my uncles
And the wrong in translation is here "Between the sheikh Salah and his brother, voice is different but style of recitation is very similar." . Arabic biography says that there are a very big semi between them in voice and a little in Appearance . Actually, the sheikh and his brothers all are look alike ^^
