Assalaam u alaikum Many of us are curious/concerned about the whereabouts of Sheikh Sudais. we have recieved some unconfirmed reports. Is there anyone who has confirmed sources about his whereabouts?
je ne saisis pas les dsifférents intervenants. je peux m'inquiéter pour Sheikh huzaifi qui a plus sde 60 ans mais qui reste l'exemple. je m'inquiète pour le ténor, il n'a que 46ans et a marqué le monde.! shuraim lui aussi était souffrant mais aucun d'eux n'a eu une absence dse plus sde 2 mois!
InshaAllah Sheikh Sudais is fine... It does feel odd without him for so long.
Umm al Qura is on summer vacation, and will only start the new school year after Ramadhaan, around October 4 or 11 this year.
Sheikh Hudhaify last led a salah on July 9, but I think he's fine inshaAllah. He does tend to take a break in the summer sometimes. And Sheikh Mu'ayqali last led on July 22, which wasn't toooo long ago.
Thank you for your comforting words Sis' Areej. I think a lot of people feel so lost and concerned without our beloved Sheikhs leading in the Haram. Inshallah they are all fine and will soon return to the public eye especially, in the holy month of Ramadaan. Oh Allah, forgive each and everyone of Your believing servants, protect them from the fitnahs and evils of this duniya and from the punishment of qiyamah and grant them the jannah they deserve. Ya Haiyyu, Ya Qayyum, Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, Ya dhal jallali wal ikram. Ameen.

Salaam Alikum Everyone i think Imam Sudais is preparing himself for Tarweeh Prayer in Ramadan as he usually does the same every year in Shaaban. as concerned to Imam Hudaify he might be doing the same hopefully. Anyways InshaAllah he should be fine wherever he is(ameen). as sis Areej mentioned earlier in her comment it could be Imam Hudaify on his Summer vacation. Sufiyan..
One of the Khutbas last month was supposed to be Sheikh Sudais, i think they said so before the khgutbah on Tv that sheikh sudais will be delivering the Khutbah and then no body showed up after the azaan for quiet some time , very unusual coz usually there is a small interval betwen the 2 azaans on friday, and then sheikh Aaal talib showed up and delivered the Khutbah. Ever since then i have been concerned, coz sheikh mahir led khutbahs Back to back and it was actually Sudais's turn and even on the tv they said Sudais would deliver, any one else notice that at all?
In the above coment i mean sheikh Aal Talib Not Sheikh Mahir, Sheikh talib last month or so led khutbahs back to back while it was Sudais's TUrn, And Allah knows best.
YES i remembered our family was discussing too about shaykh sudays not delivering the khutbah and shaykh talib instead. Just to correct you haffy_g sheikh sudays isn't in his 50s he is in his late 40s, but their age doesn't matter does it??

Quand on se dit curieux, on n'a rien compris à la fonction principale des duaat ( comme SHAIKH) Ils sont là pour nous enseigner la bonne parole, ils nous accompagnent au quotidien, ils nous éclairent ssur le pourquoi de notre vie d'ici bas. Quand une personnalité de l'importance de notre Shaikh s'absente, il y a de quoi s'inquiéter; il a tant donné et il continue, il est présent aux côtés des démunis, des orphelins, des universitaires, des réciteurs du Coran en plus des charges au sein d'El Haram.
Nous goûterons à la paix lorsque nous l'entendrons à une khutba d'el djumuaa ou lors d'une des prières de la journée
Que DIEU vous garde pour vous même, pour vos enfants, pour chaque musulman et pour el Umma dans son ensemble

isnt sudais teaching arabic at umm al quraa university and hudaify usually takes a break before ramadhan as he is quite old?
