Woah a huge change thats going to be. I got to be honest and say, the mosques shape is going to be fair unusual wouldnt you say. Could anyone tell me when this will be completed.
This project is just a proposal called Al Shamiya Project. It would be great if they did this, but it is no where in the progress of the Saudi plans of expanding the Grand Masjid.
Wikipedia is talking about the expansion of the Haram being completed in 2020, not all these misc proposals that have been flying around the internet. :)
