How about also Sami Daiwali in Madinah? Also, have the Shaikhs Basnawi, Basamji and Noman been imams in both mosques? Am I right in assuming that Basnawi and Basamji are currently in Makkah and Noman currently in Madinah?I thought I heard Sheikh Noman in Makkah a few years ago!
Muezzins at the Haram Sharif should have certain qualities, most importantly good morals and a good voice in addition to Islamic knowledge which all help him perform his duty in the best manner.
There are 16 muezzins at the mosque now, and during Ramadan an additional six are appointed. Apart from adhan, a muezzin also supports imams by repeating what they say in a loud voice. This is important, especially during Ramadan, when a large number of worshippers throng the mosque.
JAZAKALLAH ONCE AGAIN FOR TAKING THE NAMES OF THE MUADHINS I POSTED. I POSTED IT SO THAT MANY OF THE AUDIENCE CAN ALSO VOTE FOR THIER FAVOURITE MUADHINS AS WELL.

According to my knowledge its sheikh naif whose the cheif muazzin in Makkah
